Stradbroke Island day trip... with overnight stay (Nov 2021)

We thought we would head to Straddie for a day trip. Explore the various camping grounds. Have a nice lunch and head back on the late ferry.

A very nice LONG LUNCH turned into a fun two night stay.

And we found a great caravan park on the beach at Amity Point with an interesting restaurant too.

Thought I would go for a dip in the lake. Got to the waters edge and the largest Brown snake I've ever seen swam past about 4 metres out. Phark. No swimming for me. But a very peaceful spot.
