202412 Family Christmas, Mooloolooba Holiday and Brisbane chillin!!

Katie, Thomas and Lexy joined us for a week's break at the Landmark Resort.

Great location. Close to EVERYTHING... the beach, the shops, restaurants, walking and cycling tracks.

We had a "little" rain but did not stop our adventures.

Plenty of time for reading, chatting, swimming, exploring, dining, and board games. The Monopoly "challenge" brought out the competitive side in us all. And an introduction to Euno, Trouble (definitely well named!!!) .... we need to bring more card games next year!

We enjoyed so much we've booked the same apartments for 2025. Yiihaaaa.

And then family Christmas. Wonderful spending time together. Lots of interesting and thoughtful gifts. A splendid haul for all.

Took Lexy for a stroll around Mt Cootha. Early morning start. A little chill in the air to commence around 530am. Just love this walk. A gentle climb to the TV towers and then meandering along the top tracks. No Koalas sighted... darn. But found some Cockatoos and Kookaburras.
